Cricket bowlers are likely to get rotator cuff tears, Base ball pitchers can develop internal impingement, Weight lifters can get humeral sided rotator cuff tears. Volley ballers can develop SLAP lesions and bicipital tendonitis. Again the same sportsmen can develop instabilty after a fall.

What is the treatment for a frozen shoulder? |
| Intensive physiotherapy under the supervision of a suitable physiotherapist is sucessful.A steroid injection helps in the early inflammatory or painful phase. If there is little progress toward regain of movements then a manipulation under anaesthesia or an arthroscopic release will speed up matters.

| In young individuals after a trauma, Yes.This may be a big tear. In middle aged - if ovehead activities are part of their profession. In the elderly- probably not, but other surgical procedures to relieve pain may be advised
